Technology Management (TM)

The cluster has a mandate to create a research ecosystem in the academia, research institutions and industry for meeting the science and technology needs of defence and security of the nation. TM cluster identifies research gaps and provides financial grant to academic, R&D institutions and industry to undertake basic, applied and technology development research projects/programmes relevant to defence applications. It enables the cross fertilisation of ideas and experiences between defence and non-defence experts in scientific and technical fields relevant to defence applications; TM cluster is responsible for synergising the national needs and priorities of armed forces, to develop core competence in key areas; and lead technological innovations useful for short and long term combat technologies.
