CBRN Inflatable Shelter
The CBRN inflatable shelter is a multipurpose collective protection equipment for contaminated areas to be used as command & control post or rest and relief shelter in the Headquarter element of formation / brigade / battalion and for medical treatment centre in field. It will be a setup mainly over ground in the open but can also be setup inside an existing building where feasible. The Inflatable NBC Shelter consists of Inflatable modules which provides protection from NBC Agents and can be erected in a short time. AoN was accorded for procurement in Nov 2023 and realization of No -Cost-No-Commitment prototype is under progress.
