Wheeled 8x8 CBRN Reconnaissance Vehicle (RV), integrated with state of the art CBRN instrumentation facilitate CBRN reconnaissance over a large area. This high mobility Wheeled CBRN RV is developed ab-intio for CBRN reccee role and thus, offers superior compliance to the requirements. The wheeled 8x8 vehicle platform is of 2nd generation indigenous design, incorporated with enhanced features suggested by Indian Army during trials of Wheeled Armoured Platform (WhAP) 8x8

Weapon Locating Radar (WLR) is an electronically scanned phased array radar. The radar automatically locates hostile artillery, mortars and rocket launchers and tracks friendly fire to locate the impact point of friendly artillery fire to issue necessary corrections. The radar is designed to detect projectiles with small cross section across the battle space horizon, and has the capability to handle simultaneous fire from weapons deployed at multiple locations.

WhAP 8x8, is an indigenously designed & developed wheeled combat vehicle. The design philosophy of this platform is in consonance with world trend which aims at achieving modularity, scalability and re-configurability to adopt the platform for variety of roles. WhAP has excellent Mobility, Protection and Firepower parameters.It can negotiate mud/slushy terrain with ease. The Vehicle has a capability to sustain mine blast.
