Combat Aircraft Systems Development & Integration Centre (CASDIC), previously known as Defence Avionics Research Establishment (DARE) is placed as a Self-Accounting Unit under administrative control of Defence Electronics Research Laboratory (DLRL), Hyderabad on 01 Apr 2021. CASDIC has rich experience in Development of Internal & Pod based Electronic Warfare Systems for Combat Platforms, Sensor integration and cooling systems development. It is located at Bengaluru, Karnataka. CASDIC (Erstwhile DARE) is an AS9100 RevD certified orgainization.
It was originally known as Advanced Systems Integration and Evaluation Organisation (ASIEO). and was setup as a Project Laboratory in 1986 at Bangalore to pursue the goal of enhancing the operational capabilities of Indian Air Force through infusion of state-of-the-art avionics and EW technologies. The erstwhile ASIEO became a full fledged self accounting organization with effect from 1st June 2001 and was renamed as Defence Avionics Research Establishment (DARE).
CASDIC is a lead Integrator for various systems of the cluster like RWR & RWJ systems, Self-Protection Suites, Software Defined Radio, IR based Sensors etc. CASDIC has rich experience in integration at System Rigs, Aircraft Installation and Flight Testing.
