It is a high performance, ship-borne Modern ESM system for interception, detection, classification and identification of conventional and modern complex radars. The system includes strategic & tactical ES requirements with 100% probability of interception. Eighteen VARUNA Systems have been delivered and are being exploited by Indian Navy since 2013.
