Clearance accorded for integration of SANT missile on Mi-35 helicopter for Captive and Firing Trials.
HELINA Missile
Clearance accorded to Anti-Tank Guided Missile (ATGM)
HELINA developed by DRDL for integration on ALH and firing on targets. During the trials the first two firings of missiles were successfully completed for the range of 5km and 7km, whereas the third one failed to hit the target and lost the control. The failure is being investigated.
Brahmos Missile firing from Su 30 MKI
Flight Clearance was accorded for evaluation of various systems including onboard INS and Pneumatic Actuation System (PAS). Clearance accorded for fleet modifications as per IAF requirements. Trials against ship target & land attack target have been successfully completed. Fleet modification is under progress.
