A membrane based water purifier designated as “High Altitude Water Purifier” has been developed keeping in view the harsh field environment conditions of high altitude. The system is especially suited for low temperature condition of high altitude area where the major cause of water contamination is the turbidity due to suspended/ dissolved silt, carbon particles and microbial impurities.
