SAM cluster undertakes modelling, simulation and systems analysis for the purpose of strategic, tactical and operational decision making in Defence and Defence R&D; The cluster is responsible for systems’ quality, reliability and safety policies and their implementation in DRDO; The cluster charter includes publicity through print and social media, exhibitions and other outreach activities for brand building of DRDO. The cluster is also engaged in formulating, implementing and monitoring guidelines for fire, environment and explosive safety in entire MoD. SAM cluster monitors design and development of software application for effective mission planning, tactics development and training.
