In continuation of DOP’s endeavors to impart administrative, personnel and establishment related knowledge and propagate good governance across laboratories of DRDO, the latest in the series was the “Workshop on Administrative Rules & Procedures” which was held at ARDE from 10-11 January, 2019.

2. The idea behind holding the workshop was to refresh procedural and administrative knowledge of the personnel dealing with administrative issues at the labs/establishments and establish a standard way of dealing and presenting the varied nature of administrative issues/cases for expedited disposals.

3. A large number of participants from various labs across DRDO had participated in the Workshop. The methodology of the workshop encompassed discussions, case-studies and interactive sessions. The workshop had 11 sessions on topics varying from Conduct Rules to Disciplinary Proceedings, Reservation Roster, Compassionate Appointment, Grievance Redressal etc. An expert, Ms. Namita Malik, Dy. Director, DHTI, MoD had also addressed some of these sessions. Workshop ended with Panel Discussion where panelists raised various aspects of good governance, personnel and establishment related matters.

4. During valedictory function, participants were invited to offer their suggestions and feedback. The workshop was appreciated by all participants. The feedback had a high level of satisfaction and participants requested to continue with such workshops on quarterly basis.
