Under the DRDO Chandigarh Cluster, a Two-day "National Scientific and Technical Seminar - 2018" was organized by DIHAR Base Lab, Chandigarh during 6-7 December, 2018. The seminar was inaugurated on December 06, by Mrs Kirron Kher, Honorable MP Chandigarh in the presence of the Directors of Laboratories of the DRDO Chandigarh Cluster. 72 research papers have been compiled in the abstract book of the seminar and about 150 representatives were nominated for the seminar. Oral research papers were presented on 06 subjects in various sessions for two days and simultaneously poster presentation was organized.
The Closing Ceremony of the seminar was organised on December 07, with Dr. Manjeet Singh, DS and Director, TBRL as the Chief Guest of the function. Shri Naresh Kumar, OS and Director, SASE; Dr. OP Chaurasia, Director DIHAR and Dr. P. S. Kohli, Regional Director, RCMA, expressed their views in the context of the official languages and scientific lectures presented during the seminar. The Chief Guest appreciated the importance, quality and level of the seminar. Convener of the Joint Seminar Dr. Narendra Singh, Additional Director, DIHAR, thanked Directors of the participating laboratories of the Chandigarh Cluster for the cooperation, and expressed gratitude towards all the participants and representatives of the seminar.
