Defence Research Laboratory (DRL), Tezpur, conducted DRDO-Users Workshop on 1 December 2018 at Tawang, ArunachalPradesh, under the ongoing DRDO TD Programme Arunodaya. Dr SK Dwivedi,Director, DRL, in his welcome addresss poke about the Arunodaya programme and how the programme is helping inaddressing the day-to-day problemsfaced by the soldiers in the inhospitable terrain of the region through DRDOdeveloped products and technologies.The Chief Guest, Brig Zubeen Bhatnagar, Cdr, 190 MtnBde, appreciated the initiatives takenby DRDO Life Sciences Labs underArunodaya programme to serve thetroops stationed in high altitude areas.Talks on Overview of DRDO and DRL, Greenhouse and its Management, Human Waste Management at High Altitude, Transborder Bio-threat Mitigation, Mushroom Cultivation and Vermi-composting at High Altitude were delivered by the DRL scientists.
