The “National Safety Day / Week” was celebrated at ITR Chandipur on 06 March 2019. Dr. B K Das, Outstanding Scientist and Director ITR inaugurated the programme and administered a Pledge on safety and health to all employees of ITR, Chandipur. Shri P C Routray, Sc-H (OS), Associate Director, ITR in his address highlighted the importance of Safety in Range Scenario and informed that NIL accident was reported so far as far as Mission is concerned. Data Processing Division (DPD) of ITR and Shri Kuldeep Behera, TO-B, Worksproject Group and Shri Dayasankar Achari, STA-B, Photo Processing Group were adjudged as Best Safety Conscious Directorate and Best Safety Monitors for the year 2018-19 respectively and awarded with Trophy, Certificate and prizes. The program was organized by Dr S K Sahu, Sc-E Group Director (FI & ES) and Chairman Safety Committee and his team.
