ERA Mk II & NGERA

DRDO has developed ERA Mk II, which gives protection against both HEAT mono war head and FSAPDS, and is accepted by Army for induction into service. The same will be introduced on both T series tanks and Arjun MBT. In addition, DRDO has taken up Design and development of Next Generation Explosive Reactive Armour to provide protection against HEAT tandem war head besides FSAPDS.
