- Pride of India Expo during Indian Science Congress 2019
- DRDO’s participation in “Aero India -2019” during 20-24 Feb 2019 at Bengaluru
- DRDO’s participation in “Africa India Field Training Exercise (AFINDEX)” at Military Station during 26-27 March 2019
- Army Commanders Conference-2019 held at Manekshaw Centre, Delhi Cantt during 9-10 April 2019
International Exhibitions:
DPI organized DRDO’s participation in Latin American Defence and Security Exhibition (LAAD - 2019) at Rio De Janeiro, Brazil during 2-5 April 2019.
2.PRESS/PUBLICITY: This year till May, about 18 nos. of Press Releases of various DRDO events/ launches released to media through Directorate of Public Relations (DPR), Ministry of Defence and also published on Press Information Bureau (PIB) website of Government of India. DPI ensured adequate publicity to various events of DRDO such as DRDO’s participation at Aero India and various associated events such as flying of LCA Tejas by Army Chief; PSA to Govt of India; and ace badminton player PV Sindhu. DPI also organized/coordinated the media interviews of Secretary DDR&D & Chairman DRDO. DPI provided due publicity to “Mission Shakti” and coordinated the media briefing on Mission Shakti. Various DRDO launches such as launch of Technology Demonstrator Vehicle, MRSAM, LRSAM, Guided Bomb etc.
3. RD Parade 2019: DPI successfully organized DRDO’s participation in Republic Day Parade 2018. DRDO contingent included Medium range Surface to Air Missile (MRSAM) and Arjun Armoured Recovery and Repair Vehicle (Arjun ARRV).
