CCPT

CCPT was successfully designed and developed for accomplishing all tactical / technical fire control functions to achieve effective deployment of Self-Propelled (SP) Artillery guns . The importance of this project is that it is the first of its kind with tracked chassis housing Artillery Combat Command and Control Systems (ACCCS) for accomplishing fire control functions of all the versions of Artillery guns, both towed & self propelled versions. The CCPT is a re-engineered BMP vehicle with an extended chassis and additional bogie wheels, thereby achieving an improved 15 cubic m³ of space in the equipment compartment. Hence, CCPT serves as a common platform for command post functions of all the Indian Artillery guns.
