Anthrax Detection Kit
Bacillus anthracis, the causative agent of anthrax, is a large, gram-positive, non-motile, spore-forming rod shaped bacterium. Besides being one of the most important biological warfare agents, it causes public health problems in both, animals and humans. Human anthrax has three major clinical forms: cutaneous, inhalational and gastrointestinal. Early treatment of cutaneous, anthrax is usually curative and early treatment of all forms is important for recovery.
Intended Use:
The assay is intended for serodiagnosis of Anthrax infection in human/animal serum samples.
Salient Features:
- Specific recombinant protein based Immuno flow through assay kit for serodiagnosis of anthrax
- The kit are based broadly on principles of indirect ELISA
- The kit can be used at point of care centers
- The kits have been evaluated on human and animals serum samples
