Defence Science Forum (DSF) has planned to celebration Technology Day 2023 on 17th May 2023 at Kothari Auditorium, DRDO Bhawan, DRDO HQr. Secretary DD R&D and Chairman DRDO will preside over the function.
Introduction
Defence Research & Development Organisation is engaged in developing indigenous knowledge and technology to look after the needs of defence forces. It is well known that almost all the areas of technology development are interdisciplinary in nature for which specialists belong to different specialties like Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and their sub-specialties need to interact in a constructive and cohesive manner. Only then the lofty goal of upliftment of machine and man-behind-the machine can be achieved.
In order to develop a common platform where scientists of various disciplines could interact for mutual development the Defence Science Forum has been created in the year 1994 keeping in mind the objectives of interaction of scientists of various disciplines, to foster fellowship, exchange of ideas with luminaries of different disciplines and feasibility & planning of all interdisciplinary projects where expert opinion is required.
To meet these objectives periodical invited lectures, colloquium and seminars are organised by this forum. Besides these Defence Science Forum also organise special functions on National Science Day and on Technology Day.
