Over the years, CAIR has developed and delivered to its users, a number of Information Systems and Communication Systems with in-built Security Solutions.
Through developing and fielding tactical communication command control and intelligence (TAC C3I) systems, CAIR has taken the latest technologies in the computers and networking to the battlefield. These systems have undergone extensive field trials, limited series production & user evaluation, bulk production by PSUs and mass scale field deployment. These include
- Communication equipment RLS, RTS, TIDEX, DTU, AES, DC
- TAC C3I systems ACCCS, CIDSS, BSS, ADC&RS
- Communication and IT security solutions for military and other GOI depts.
Customized products in the domain of robotics and intelligent systems have been delivered to Defence Public Sector Units (DPSU), other government agencies, and the civilian sector. These include:
- Robots for Government Agencies Non-Destructive Testing robot for HAL, Eddy Current Testing robot for NPCIL, Ion Beam Milling robot for ISRO, Hot Slug Handling robot for NMRL, Secunderabad.
- Laparoscopic trainer for BEST, Intelligent Wheel chair for 515 Army Base Workshop, Educational Robots for engineering colleges.
- Language Independent Speaker Identification System (LISIS) for Central Forensic Science Laboratory
In recognition of excellent contributions in the areas of communication and networking, command and control systems, communication secrecy, information security and intelligent systems, The Silicon Trophy 2005 has been awarded to CAIR for the best system laboratory of DRDO in 2005.
