Dr S Christopher, Chairman DRDO & Secretary, Department of Defence Research & Development visited DIHAR, Leh on 11 March 2018. During his visit he was appraised of the recent research activities related to greenhouse cultivation technologies at DIHAR. He was also informed about the long term potato storage technology and the project assignment on camel for high altitude maneuvering by troops. He was accompanied by Dr Shashi Bala Singh, DG LS and Dr P K Mehta, DG, ACE and Dr O P Chaurasia, Director, DIHAR during the visit.
