Akhil Bharatiya Rajbhasha Sangosthi entitled ‘सीमावर्तीक्षेत्रोंकेविकासकेलिएविज्ञानकायोगदान’ was organized at DRL on 28th January 2019. Dr. SK Dwivedi, Director, DRL in his welcome address expressed his views about the role of science in improvement of agriculture sector, health and hygiene in remote border areas. The Chief Guest, Prof. S Kushwaha, Vice Chancellor, Rajiv Gandhi University, Arunachal Pradesh and other dignitaries inaugurated the ‘SangosthiPatrika’. Prof. Kushwaha in his inaugural speech expressed his opinion about Rajbhasha and stressed upon on popularization and progress of Rajbhasha. Dr. N Jain, Scientist ‘G’ SSPL, Delhi, Guest of Honour also delivered a speech. A total of 57 participants from ten different institutes like ITBP, SSB, Tezpur University, LGBRIMH, Tezpur and other DRDO laboratories presented their papers. In the valedictory function, Director, DRL felicitated the participants with memento and certificates.
