66th NMRL Raising Day was celebrated with great zeal and fervor on 05 Jan 2019. This year, celebrations were marked with the august presence of Prof. Devang V Khakhar, Director, IITB, as our Chief Guest and Dr Samir V Kamat, DS and DG (NS&M), as our Guest of Honour. The celebrations were highlighted by the presence of retired Scientist ‘G’s who consented to grace this occasion by being our special guests.
Dr M. Patri, Director, NMRL, in his welcome address highlighted the overall growth and achievements made by the laboratory in the past year. Chief Guest expressed a sense of great pride in the accomplishments made by NMRL over the years and extended to join hands together for progress of Science & Technology. DG ( NS&M) enthused the entire NMRL fraternity to work together as a unit to achieve greater heights in their mission to provide latest technological solutions to the Defence forces. Lab level and cash awards were presented to the employees for their outstanding and meritorious performances in their field of activities. The afternoon session of celebrations was marked by performance by in-house talents, followed by an orchestra evening.
