A training Programme on Finance and Materials Management was organised during 25th February- 01st March 2019 at ITR, Balasore. Total 47 participants from 20 different labs/Estts of DRDO and CGDA participated in the course. The Course was inaugurated by Dr. B. K. Das, OS & Director ITR, Dr. A. K. Bhateja, OS & Director, DF&MM, and Sh D. K. Joshi, Director PXE. Sh Manish Kumar, Scientist ‘E’ and Sh Saurav Negi, Dy Dir. from DF&MM were Course coordinator and Dy-Course Coordinator respectively for the course. Entire gamut of topics relevant to DRDO such as PM-2016, GFR 2017, Contract management, Foreign procurement/ACA Contract, SMG, GST, RFP, GeM, Audit, Financial Delegation, BTS and RDR/Deposit works were covered in the 5-day course. The faculty for the course consisted of officers from DF&MM, CGDA and C&AG. A panel discussion was conducted on the final day of the course under the Chairman ship of Sh. A. V. Rao, PCDA(R&D) Hyderabad wherein various issues pertaining to DRDO were discussed.
