Director

Dr. Maiya Din Scientist ‘G’ is working as Director, DF&MM in Defence Research & Development Organization, Head Quarters, New Delhi. His areas of interest are Cryptography, Information security, Soft computing and computational swarm intelligence. He has contributed in a number of R&D projects of DRDO.

He presently leads management teams at DF&MM working on different aspects of Finance and Material Management.

He completed M.Sc. in Computer Science from J.K. Institute, University of Allahabad in 1989 and MBA in Information Technology from Sikkim Manipal University in 2012. He completed PhD in “Artificial Intelligence based techniques for solving optimization problems” from University of Delhi in 2023.

He has more than 15 research publications in peer-reviewed journals and international conference proceedings. He has guided 15 research scholars from different academic institutions. He has also served as a reviewer for reputed journal and proceedings of many international conferences.

He is a life member of ‘Computer Society of India (CSI)’, a member of ‘Soft-computing Research Society’ and ‘Cryptology Research Society of India (CRSI)’.

Dr. Maiya Din is a recipient of Lab Scientist Award of DRDO in 2014.
